Another keynote speaker is Mohammad Khalil. He is a senior researcher in Learning Analytics and Technology-Enhanced Learning, Centre for the Science of Learning & Technology (SLATE), University of Bergen, Norway.
His talk will be on Harnessing Learning Analytics with Mobile Learning: Opportunities and Challenges. The mobile learning analytics field is challenging and promising for practitioners and researchers because of the distinctive features offered by mobile devices. For example, there is a large amount of temporallearner data that cannot be obtained from web-based systems but can be mined from mobile used technologies. In this talk, he will highlight the potential that learning analytics may offer to the mobile learning (m-learning) field as well as the challenges that could hinder the practices of Learning Analytics for m-learning.
